1.0 Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Level 1 Labs ("Platform," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Learner," "you") and Level 1 Labs governing your access to and use of our online cybersecurity education platform, websites, content, labs, certifications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing, registering for, or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Academic Integrity Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Cookies Policy (collectively, the "Agreements").

If you are accessing the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2.0 Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services.

2.2 Account Creation

• Maintain confidentiality of account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all account activity
• Notify us of unauthorized use or security breaches

2.3 Identity Verification

High-stakes assessments may require identity verification via webcam, third-party proctoring, government-issued ID, or biometric data.

2.4 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, inactivity, or non-payment.

3.0 Nature of Services and Intellectual Property

3.1 License Grant

A limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license is granted for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

3.2 Platform Content

All content is owned by Level 1 Labs or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

3.3 User-Generated Content

You grant Level 1 Labs a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use submitted content for service delivery and improvement.

3.4 Certification and Digital Credentials

Credentials are non-transferable, revocable if obtained fraudulently, and expire after two (2) years.

4.0 Payments, Refunds, and Subscriptions

4.1 Fees

All fees are non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise.

4.2 Subscriptions

• Recurring billing until canceled
• Cancel anytime via account settings
• Fee changes with 30 days’ notice

4.3 Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

5.0 User Conduct and Acceptable Use

• No cheating, plagiarism, or impersonation
• No hacking or platform abuse
• No account sharing
• No malicious software development
• No harassment or discrimination
• No reverse engineering

6.0 Security and Cybersecurity Labs

6.1 Lab Environments

Labs are isolated, ethical, and educational environments.

6.2 Authorized Use

• Use labs only within defined scope
• No breakout or infrastructure attacks
• No illegal or unauthorized hacking

6.3 Vulnerability Disclosure

Security issues must be reported to support@hackmefirst.com.

7.0 Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

AS IS. Services are provided without warranties.

No guarantee of employment, promotion, or certification success.

Liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding twelve (12) months.

8.0 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Level 1 Labs from claims arising from your use of the Services or violations of these Terms.

9.0 Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may terminate access immediately for violations.

10.0 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.

Disputes resolved via binding arbitration in Seattle, Washington.

No class actions or class arbitrations.

11.0 General Provisions

11.1 Updates

Terms may be updated with notice.

11.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement.

11.3 Severability

Invalid provisions do not affect remaining terms.
